SUNY New Paltz announces the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

SUNY New Paltz announces the conferral of more than 1,200 undergraduate degrees following the conclusion of the spring 2017 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Sunday, May 14 saw 799 Siena Saints become alumni at the 2017 Commencement ceremonies at the Times Union Center in Albany. The graduating class represented 31 undergraduate majors and one graduate major, and more than 80 minors and certificate programs.

Nearly 1,100 students were welcomed as alumni on May 19 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains at Purchase College's Commencement Ceremony.

A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The following students have been named to Alvernia University's Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.

The college's Class of 2017 includes students from around the Capital Region and around the globe, graduating from more than 80 degree or certificate programs.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2017 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Every spring, Siena scholars from all academic areas gather together at the annual Academic Celebration. The day of celebration begins with a presentation session in the Sarazen Student Union where all students are invited to showcase their research and final projects.

To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more. Coastal Carolina University has announced that 745 students made the President's honor list for high academic achievement for the 2017 Spring Semester. To qualify for the President's List for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

Nearly 1,800 students were named to the Spring 2017 President's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

Fifty-two members of the Class of 2017 received Senior Service Awards in recognition of their outstanding commitment to volunteerism while at SUNY Oneonta. Students who completed at least 350 hours of service through the college's Center for Social Responsibility and Community (CSRC) were recognized during a reception on May 12.

Nearly 140 SUNY Oneonta students presented original research and creative projects at the college's 2017 Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.
