The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the fall semester 2018. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0-grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5-grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. The Dean's List honors students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average with a full-time course load.

The following students have been cited for academic achievement for the Fall 2018 semester by achieving the Dean's List at SUNY Delhi. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher within the semester.

A total of 227 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the fall 2018 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

109 juniors and seniors at Kutztown University have completed a Career Success Certificate for the Fall 2018 semester. The Career Success Certificate is open to all juniors and seniors. Students gain a greater understanding of themselves, employer expectations, effective job search strategies, interviewing skills and the role of social media in the hiring process. They will also be better prepared to conduct the internship, job, or graduate school search.

Approximately 600 Nichols College students in Dudley, Mass., have achieved Dean's List or Dean's High Honors during the fall 2018 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

The University of Scranton announced nearly 1,600 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 fall semester.

A total of 1,584 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the Fall 2018 semester.

A total of 1,513 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2018 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Over 1500 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Ninety three SUNY Oneonta students from SUNY Oneonta's School of Economics and Business traveled to the Big Apple on Oct. 25 for the college's annual Backpacks to Briefcases alumni networking trip. Students visited 21 well-established alumni at their Manhattan offices and heard about their experiences going from students to top executives. The event is designed to inspire students to jumpstart their careers by beginning to build their professional networks. It is funded by the Oneonta Student Association and the SUNY Oneonta Alumni Association through charitable gifts to the Fund for Oneonta.

Eight Coastal Carolina University students have been named the Wall Fellows Class of 2019. Coastal Carolina University's Wall Fellows Program is a two-year program that prepares top students across all majors for high-level careers in major U.S. and international organizations. The highly selective leadership development program is designed to supplement students' regular academic coursework. Along with coursework, the Wall Fellows program also consists of a combination of individual reading and studying, developing a personal mission statement and resume, professional internships, leadership training, project execution and character-building opportunities.

Hundreds of SUNY New Paltz student volunteers help community agencies on Make a Difference Day 2018
